audio signal up to 200 feet from the HDTV source using two
CAT5/5E/6 cables. This is a perfect and reliable solution for situations
where your HDMI compatible HDTV needs to be located in maybe
a separate room or floor from where the HDMI source device is
securely located. Running HDMI over commonly used CAT5 cable
results in greater signal distance, reduced material costs and
ease of installation.
Example applications include multi-level homes and larger AV
environments such as classroom and educational facilities, corporate
conference rooms and boardrooms, houses of worship, and other
digital signage areas.
